Filing Release and Holding Rank
Releasing Should you wish to leave service at any time, it is in your best interests to file release. Sending the Commander or a Lieutenant a letter with your reasons, along with any items or money owed in Debts is an excellent way to show that you are able to handle things professionally.
Holding Rank: If you do decide to leave, you will not recieve the same rank if you re-enter the regiment. You will have to start anew like everybody else. However if something happens for example (internet dies, school, etc.) You may file for holding rank.
Note: Should you go AWOL (Absent With-Out Leave) long enough that you are ejected from service (over 2 weeks/14 days steady), you will NOT qualify for rank holding. As well, if you are forcibly removed for problems of behavior, performance, or for liability reasons, you will not be eligible to request rank holding.
